Description
The World shows a woman wrapped in a purple cloth dancing in the center of a large oval laurel wreath. She holds a staff in her hands and represents the positive and negative poles of universal energy.
In each corner of the card you see the same figures as in The Wheel of Fortune: the lion, the bull, the angel and the eagle – the four creatures that Ezekiel saw in his vision of God in the Old Testament. If something is absolute and perfect, it appears here in the card. Opposites meet and unite, everything is in balance and merges into a higher unity.
Inside the laurel wreath, chaos is transformed into order, and the universe is contained therein. In the corners the man, an eagle, a bull and a lion, four protectors who must ensure the stability of the cosmic forces.
They are the guardians of the sky and at the same time represent the four fixed signs of the zodiac, the four elements and the four seasons: (Taurus: Taurus, earth, spring, Leo: Leo, fire, summer, Eagle: Scorpio, water, autumn, Man: Aquarius , air and winter). The card indicates that The Fool’s journey has come to an end, he is now a master of life.
Interpretation
The card primarily symbolizes fulfillment and satisfaction. When you draw this card you will be in a situation where you are successful and have fulfilled your goals and visions and you can reap rewards. Spiritually speaking, you can now complete a phase in your life, and you will probably find that you are integrated with yourself and in harmony with nature and the universe.
The card is most often associated with something good and with good aspects – but even if the card symbolizes fertility, there are more and new journeys and/or projects that await us in life. Satisfaction does not necessarily have to be in the form of an ending. It’s about you being on top and able to build new worlds inwardly and outwardly.
You will see that everything finds its rightful place, and you will see the meaning behind all your life experiences and at the same time accept the conditions you have as a human here on earth. You feel that you can give yourself fulfillment and that everything that you have sought in the outer world is actually found within yourself.
