Numerology was founded by the Greek mathematician and astrologer Pythagoras, who studied the mathematical relationships between notes in music that bring about harmony.
It is through the writings of Pythagoras that numerology bases many of its assumptions about the properties of numbers, for example the idea that odd numbers are masculine, active and creative, while even numbers are feminine, passive and receptive.
Numerology assumes that the universe consists of different forms of energy and that all energies are connected and influence each other.
When numerology interprets which energies the individual numbers contribute to your person, this is based on how the individual number is represented in your numerological profile. Thus, the interpretation and meaning of the individual numbers depends on whether it is your number for life lessons, motivation, etc.
Since we attract the same forms of energy from the universe that we already contain, it becomes important which energies we allow to be present in our lives. That energy of a given type attracts energy of the same type means that good energies attract other good energies and vice versa with bad energies.
According to numerology, the connection between your person and the energies you attract, first of all, goes through the numbers that you are associated with based on your name and time of birth.
Numerology seeks to give you an overview of the basic energies that you carry around and can be seen as a development tool that gives you the opportunity to assess which energies you want to preserve, develop and which ones you want to tone down.
The way names are converted to numbers is that each letter of the alphabet is associated with a number. The letter A is represented by the number 1, the letter B by the number 2, etc.

The Balliett system, is named after Mrs. L. D. Balliett (1847-1929), who wrote the first modern books on numerology.
There is also the Gematria system, which is a bit older. Here the number 9 is excluded as in the Hebrew tradition it stood for God, whose name was unmentionable and holy and therefore could not be used for purposes such as numerology.
Some numerologists prefer the Balliett system, also called the Pythagorean system. While others prefer the Gematria system, also referred to as Gematria (Kaldæa).
The small country of Gematria, between Iraq and Iran, existed between the 9th and 6th centuries BC, after which it was incorporated into Babylonia. Here arose Gematria numerology, which is considered to be the oldest form of calculation known to us.

Should you change your name?
According to numerology, however, it is not random which name we are given at birth. We all have lessons to learn and a destiny to face. And this we ourselves have decided before we are born into this life !!! Our soul has made many journeys in the past and knows its present needs.
The soul wants progress, upwards in the great spiral, and chooses for the incarnated “I” the vowels which will fulfill this purpose. This is the encouragement you bring with you. According to numerology, your parents felt this urge during pregnancy. Your parents have felt these vibrations being imprinted in their subconscious, prompting them to find a name that fulfills your soul’s desire.

Numerology says that if you combine your first name with the person you are with, you get a picture of who you are when you are in the company of that person. Or if you get married and change your surname, the possible difference in your name number can tell you how the marriage has affected you.

Can people pronounce the name when presented with it, or will there often be a remark along the lines of “Can you say that again?”. If the name is difficult to pronounce, it carries from its birth a difficult energy, an energy that holds things down and holds back progress, an energy that is difficult and heavy.
A name should be easy to pronounce. It doesn’t matter that you might have to explain that the name is not pronounced the way it is spelled, it’s just that the name is easy to pronounce when you know how. For example “Sade” or that a letter is mute or similar.
If the name is difficult to pronounce, it will always vibrate with negative, heavy energy. Names that are difficult to pronounce should be avoided. They contain and attract bad energy.
Can you spell the name?
Can people spell the name when presented with it, or will there often be a remark along the lines of “Can you spell it for me?”. If the name is spelled so whimsically that it always attracts attention, it exudes a messy energy.
There are many situations where it is necessary for others to relate to your name. Hotel check-in, passport control, filling out paperwork in connection with car rental, apartment rental, etc. If it is such that every time you need to write your name, there is a delay and raised eyebrows, then the name does not have positive energy.

In the foregoing, only the reduced value of the individual digits has been taken into account. In a Pythagorean diagram, one can also examine the significance of the representativeness of the numbers before the reduction and their interrelationships.
It matters how many times the individual numbers appear before the reduction.
The numbers that occur frequently will show their vibrations. Even if a number does not appear as part of the numerological profile’s integers (Life lesson, Birthday number, Impression number, Expression number and Motivation number), its influence will still be felt if it appears frequently before the number reduction.
The interrelationships of the numbers are also important. It matters whether the energy goes from or to a number. The direction of the energy flows is found by counting the number of times the individual number is represented in one’s name.
Graphically, you can get an overview of the directions of the energy flow by, for example, putting a circle around the number for each time it appears in the name. As an example, the name “Herbert Brandt” and date of birth “28 Sept 1967” are used. It can be seen that the name is missing 3, 6 and 7. But since the date of birth diagram complements 6 and 7, only 3 are missing.
And since 3 is represented by the letters C L and U, the person could consider introducing one of these into their name, or consider a middle name that includes one or more of these letters.
Just because a name lacks certain numbers does not mean that person will lack abilities represented by those numbers. However, if a number is missing, there is difficulty in consciously managing the energies symbolized by that number.
The presence of numbers symbolizes the available and obvious abilities, powers, talents etc. Where numbers are missing, there is a search for what is missing. For example, the number 7 indicates the ability to set boundaries. Where there is no 7 in a name, sooner or later the person will feel the urge to develop the ability to set boundaries.

The ultimate goal of the fully developed human is to include all vibrations in balanced numbers. 2 POINT LINES
Just as one number represents a human resource, two numbers connected by a line illustrate that there is a connection between two resources.
The connection between two numbers can be either an interaction or an energy flow that goes from one number to the other. The energy will flow from the strong number to the weak number.

3 POINT LINES

A numeroscope is a graphic illustration of the numerological numbers associated with your person. This graphic illustration is supplemented with text that explains the meaning of the numerological numbers.
A numeroscope is two triangles on top of each other. The upper triangle symbolizes the sky and points up towards the “beyond material”, “beyond eternity”, “beyond space”. The lower triangle symbolizes the earth and points down towards the material, the present life, the present time.
A numeroscope is an overview of all the numbers associated with you, through your name, date of birth, etc. The numeroscope provides structure and an overview of all the numerological numbers associated with your person. A numeroscope contains a large number of numbers and the interaction between them constitutes the numerological interpretation.
Setting up a numeroscope is easy! The biggest challenge is that you will end up with a whole lot of numbers and it can be difficult to keep your head and tail on their different meanings.
But the setup itself is quite easy. Start by drawing the two triangles on top of each other, and then start calculating the different numbers that must go into your numeroscope.

The value for your first name, your possible middle names and your last name is written in the middle of the numeroscope on the Life Line. Numbers for first name are written on the left, numbers for middle name on the underside and numbers for last name are written on the right of the lifeline.
Sum of the Lifeline
The numbers of the life line (i.e. the name numbers) tell in symbolism which destiny we have to live through. The sum of the life line that is written at the bottom of the numeroscope is identical to the Expression number, which is obtained by converting all the letters in your full birth name into numbers, adding these and taking the cross-sum until the number is reduced to a single digit.
Auratal
The aura numbers tell us which tools we use to unfold and protect ourselves, as well as about our radiance. There are four aura numbers. They are divided into “Frontside”, “Backside”. As well as “Consciousness”, “Subconsciousness”. Aura number 1 is on the front in consciousness, aura number 2 is on the back in consciousness, aura number 3 is on the front in subconscious, aura number 4 is on the back in subconscious. And what does this mean?
Yes, this is related to the two triangles that the numeroscope consists of. The upper triangle symbolizes consciousness and the upper body, the lower triangle symbolizes the subconscious (dreams, feelings, memories, etc.) and the lower body.
All the aura numbers must be seen in conjunction with each other. They must form a team together and provide you with protection. If the numbers do not work together there will be “holes” in your aura, which will make you vulnerable.
Try to think of the four numbers as people forming a team together. For a team to work well there are some guidelines for composition, but these are just general guidelines. There are teams which are optimally composed based on the existing guidelines and which do not work anyway.
